He makes an appeals everyone, regardless of religion, cast or ideology, to unite under the flag of liberated Bangladesh and to help to achieve freedom. He say, victory is certain. • In statement given at he US Senate, Senator Frank Church says, if the US would really like to maintain a neutral position in the civil war of Pakistan, its the military and financial support US has been giving to the West Pakistan must be withdrawn . Pakistan is applying the arms given by the US against its own people. The US must refute the logic of the Pakistan Government where the latter claims, there is nothing for the International community to worry about whereas elected leaders are being killed and the the mass is being tortured.

• গোপালগঞ্জ শহর মুক্ত করার উদ্দেশ্যে ক্যাপ্টেন জালাল ১৫০জন যোদ্ধা নিয়ে শহরের পশ্চিমদিকে ঘোরেচর গ্রামে, কমান্ডার ওমরের নেতৃত্বে একটি দল শহরের পূর্বদিকে বেদ গ্রামে ও নওশের আলী ৩০জন যোদ্ধা নিয়ে মানিকদাহ থেকে শহরের দক্ষিণে নবীনবাগে অবস্থান নেয়।
  
  
• কুমিল্লার সিঙ্গারবিল এলাকায় মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা পাকহানাদার বাহিনীর সৈন্যদের অবস্থান আক্রমণ করে। এ অভিযানে পাকবাহিনীর ৬জন সৈন্য নিহত হয়।

  তিনি আরো বলেন, সাড়ে ৭ কোটি বাঙালির ত্যাগ বৃথা যেত পারে না এবং তা বৃথা যেতে দেয়া হবে না। বাঙালির এই অশ্রু একদিন তাদের মুখে হাসি ফোটাবেই।
  তিনি বাংলাদেশে ইতিহাসের বৃহত্তম গণহত্যার ঘটনায় মুসলিম রাষ্ট্রবর্গের নীরবতা অবলম্বনে গভীর দুঃখ প্রকাশ করেন। পশ্চিমা সামরিক বাহিনীর সহযোগী বিশ্বাসঘাতকদের প্রতি কঠোর হুঁশিয়ারি উচ্চারণ করে মুক্তিসংগ্রাম বিরোধী ঘৃণ্য কাজ থেকে বিরত থাকার আহ্বান জানান। ধর্ম, বর্ণ ও মতাদর্শ নির্বিশেষে দেশের প্রতিটি মানুষকে স্বাধীন বাংলাদেশের পতাকাতলে ঐক্যবদ্ধ হয়ে মুক্তির লক্ষ্য অর্জনে সহায়তা করার আবেদন জানিয়ে তিনি বলেন, জয় আমাদের সুনিশ্চিত। কোন শক্তিই তা ঠেকাতে পারবে না।
  
  
• ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইন্দিরা গান্ধী বলেন, পূর্ববঙ্গ থেকে ক্রমবর্ধমান উদ্বাস্তু আগমনের মুখে ভারত তার জাতীয় স্বার্থে ব্যবস্থা গ্রহণ করতে বাধ্য হবে। আমাদের ওপর কোনো পরিস্থিতি চাপিয়ে দেয়া হলে তার মোকাবেলা করতে ভারত পুরোপুরি প্রস্তুত।
  
  
• সিনেটর ফ্রাঙ্ক চার্চ মার্কিন সিনেটে এক বিবৃতিতে বলেন, পাকিস্তানের গৃহযুদ্ধে সত্যিই যদি নিরপেক্ষ থাকতে হয়, তাহলে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রকে পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানে সামরিক ও অর্থনৈতিক সাহায্য সরবরাহ বন্ধ করতে হবে। তিনি আরো বলেন, যুক্তরাষ্ট্র প্রদত্ত অস্ত্রশস্ত্র পাকিস্তান তার নিজের জনগণের ওপর ব্যবহার করছে। নির্বাচিত নেতৃবর্গকে হত্যা ও পূর্ব বাংলার জনসাধারণের ওপর অত্যাচার চালানোর ঘটনা আন্তর্জাতিক সম্প্রদায়ের উদ্বেগের বিষয় নয় বলে পাকিস্তান সামরিক সরকার যে যুক্তি দেখিয়েছেন, যুক্তরাষ্ট্র সরকারের অবশ্যই উচিত তা বাতিল করে দেয়া।
  
  
• চিফ সেক্রেটারি, বিভাগীয় কমিশনার, পুলিশের আই.জি., বেশ কিছু জেলা প্রশাসক ও এসপিসহ প্রাদেশিক সরকারের পদস্থ কর্মকর্তাকে পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানে বদলি করে তাদের স্থলে পশ্চিম পাকিস্তানী কর্মকর্তাদের নিয়োগ করা হয়।
  
  
• পি.ডি.পি.-র মৌলবী ফরিদ আহমদ আওয়ামী লীগ সদস্যদের প্রকাশ্য বিচার দাবি করে বলেন, পাকিস্তানের সংহতির স্বার্থে তা করা প্রয়োজন। তিনি বলেন, আওয়ামী লীগ পাকিস্তানকে ধ্বংস করার জন্য ১৯৪৭ সাল থেকেই চক্রান্তে লিপ্ত ছিল।
