  • The Mukti Bahini has a severe fight with the Pakistani Force at a place called Bogadia in Comilla. Attacks continue from both sides for about 4-5 hours at a stretch. Finally the Pakistani soldiers along with their injured collaborators back off towards Chaumuhani.

  • The Pakistani Force establishes a strong defense outpost at the Jagadal area of Amarkhana in Dinajpur. On the other hand the Muktibahini establishes two small camps 3-4 miles away from the Bhajanpur main outpost at places named Magurmari and Moynaguri.

  • A group of freedom fighters led by Hemayetuddin makes a severe attack on the Pakistani soldiers staying at Kotalipara police station in Faridpur. The armed police and military men at the police station loses courage to fight in the face of gunshots fired by the freedom fighters and being terrified they flee with their lives.

  • Captain Nazrul is appointed in place of Subedar Major Kajimudding as the in – charge of Bhajanpur sub-sector of number 6 sector of the Muktibahini.

  • Entering Nababganj in Dhaka district the Pakistani Force immediately attacks the villages of Bardhanpara and Kalakopa. With the help of local agents they kill the villagers indiscriminately and burn their houses down. Twenty innocent villagers are killed in that barbarous attack.

  • Belonia sub-sector is established under the number 2 sector of the Muktibahini. Captain Zafar is appointed as the in – charge of this sub-sector.

  • The freedom fighters led by Major Najmul stop a convoy of Pakistani soldiers and razakars with five trucks loaded with arms and explosives. As a result a terrible conflict takes place. During this conflict the freedom fighters completely destroy the Pakistani convoy and get hold off a huge amount of arms and explosives.

  • The Pakistani force severely attacks the Muktibahini in Cox’s Baazar. After a whole day of fighting the Muktibahini is able to prevent the Pakistani force.

  • Khulna central peace committee is established under the leadership of the Jamayat leader and former member of Jatiya Parishad, Moulana A K M Yusuf. The peace committee announces programs to help the administration.
